Are the CPP tests here the same as on the real exam?
Yes. The questions are 99.9% identical to the ones you receive on the real exam. The format, structure and difficulty are exactly the same.
Can I pass the exam just by doing CPP tests?
CPP tests help a lot, but simply memorising answers is usually not enough. It is important to understand traffic rules, right-of-way rules, traffic signs and traffic situations. The tests are most effective when combined with the CPP course and explanation of the material.
How many times should I do CPP tests before the exam?
It is not only about how many times you do the tests, but also whether you understand your mistakes. Keep doing the tests until you repeatedly achieve a very good score and, when you make a mistake, you know why the correct answer is correct.
When am I ready for the CPP exam?
You are ready for the CPP exam when you are not answering correctly only from memory, but can explain why a certain answer is correct. If you regularly achieve very good results on tests and understand your mistakes, you are on the right track. If you are unsure, CPP tutoring can help.
Can I do CPP tests on my phone?
Yes, you can do CPP tests on your phone, tablet or computer. What matters is that you stay focused while solving them and take time after each wrong answer to understand the mistake.
What should I do if I am not scoring well enough on CPP tests?
First check which topics you make the most mistakes in. Then revise the explanation of the material, do more questions from the same topic and remember the logic, not just the correct answer. If you keep getting stuck, additional explanation or CPP tutoring makes sense.

What is the best way to study for the CPP exam?
The best way is a combination of the CPP course, explanation of the material, the CPP handbook and regular test practice. First try to understand the rules, then use the tests to check where you still make mistakes. Pay special attention to intersections, right-of-way rules, traffic signs and questions where the answers are very similar.
Which CPP test questions are the hardest?
Learners usually struggle most with right-of-way rules, intersections, traffic signs, joining traffic, speed limits and questions with several similar answers. That is why it is important not to just memorise answers, but to understand the logic of traffic situations. CPP tutoring can help you with this.
Are free CPP tests enough for preparation?
Free CPP tests are excellent practice support, but they are not a replacement for the CPP course. The course explains the material, while tests show you how much you understand and where you need more repetition.
What is the difference between the CPP course, e-classroom and CPP tests?
The CPP course is the mandatory theory course you must complete before registering for the CPP exam. The e-classroom is additional digital support for studying and revision. CPP tests are practice questions that help you check your knowledge before the exam.
Are CPP tests the same as the CPP exam?
CPP tests are intended for practice and preparation for the theory exam on road traffic regulations. The questions may be similar to exam questions, but practicing at home is not the same as the official CPP exam, which you take at the administrative unit.
Can I drive at Tilia if I completed the CPP course at another driving school?
Yes, no problem. All we need is a valid transfer document and a passed CPP exam. Changing driving schools is completely normal and legally allowed.
How many driving lessons do I need on average before the test?
The average at Tilia is 31 lessons. Less than the Slovenian average of 35-40 lessons. Because we have experienced instructors and a clear plan for every lesson, driving becomes easier. After each lesson, you and your instructor review the lesson and make a plan for the next drives.
When can I start my first driving lesson?
Usually around 14 days after registration. In less busy periods (summer, January), it can be even sooner. If you are short on time, call us — we always do our best to adapt to your schedule. Morning slots are less busy than afternoon slots. Current waiting times for each driving instructor can be found in our app.
What exactly is CPP tutoring and how is it different from the course?
The CPP course is a mandatory 24-hour group course that you must complete before taking the exam. CPP tutoring is an optional 1-on-1 session with a teacher, where you work through the specific chapters that are giving you trouble. Tutoring is for "I do not understand what I keep doing wrong on these tests." The course is legally required and is for "I have not started yet."
What are the driving lesson prices? Are there any hidden costs?
Our regular hourly price in 2026 is 46.90 € per lesson (50 minutes). You do not pay travel costs, fuel, "vehicle readiness" or any other extras. You pay for the completed lessons — nothing more.
Can I drive on weekends?
Yes, quite a few of our instructors also drive on Saturdays and Sundays.
What if I fail the test?
After an unsuccessful test, you and your instructor identify what went wrong and how many additional lessons you still need. Typically 3-5 lessons, then you are ready for the next test.
