What is First Aid

Mandatory part of the exam.

The first aid course and exam are a legally required part of obtaining a Category B driving licence.

The first aid course and exam are mandatory parts of obtaining a car driving licence. They can be completed at the same time as the CPP course, but they are a requirement before you can start the practical part — driving.

During the lectures, you learn the basic procedures for providing assistance to an injured person — when to act, how to approach, and what the correct order of actions is.

Lectures and exams take place at the Red Cross of Slovenia. The nearest location to us is at Tržaška cesta 132 in Ljubljana.

Important: first aid is not a requirement for attending the CPP course. However, it is a requirement for taking the CPP theoretical exam at the administrative unit.
How the Exam Works

The exam consists of three parts.

All three parts of the exam take place in the same session. To proceed to the oral and practical parts, you must successfully complete the written part.

01 Written Part

Written Part

The first part of the exam tests basic theoretical knowledge of first aid. Successfully passing the written part is a requirement to continue.

02 Practical Part

Practical Demonstration

Practical demonstration of basic resuscitation procedures and actions in life-threatening situations.

03 Oral Part

Oral Part

The final part of the exam. After successfully completing all three parts, you receive an official certificate of completed first aid.
